Find trusted information online with Veterinary Partner

Please don’t use Dr. Google! The danger isn't Google but, rather, having your search guide you to a website that doesn't verify its information or, worse, blatantly shares the dreaded fake news. You will find there are too many answers. Instead we urge you to check out Veterinary Partner.

Veterinary Partner is a website written by veterinarians for clients. You can find anything online if you look hard enough, unfortunately it is not always correct. We want you to be able to find reliable, easy to understand and scientifically backed information on the conditions involving your pet and the Veterinary Partner website is the online source we trust.

Rehoming Pets

If your living situation or family dynamic has changed, if you are struggling to care for your pet due to your own health or if your pet requires surgery or treatment that is a financial hardship, rehoming a pet may be the kindest and most responsible option. There are both breed specific rescues and all-breed rescues that will take the pets in and find them a suitable home, any vetting will be taken care of before they get into their adoptive homes. Use this link to a list of rescues that can help. Be patient, rescues are run by all volunteer staff, so it might take some time to return your message. If your request to rehome is urgent, make sure the rescue is aware of this.
